Our Story

Savana and Ian

Even though we've known of each other since high school due to our parent's friendship, we never truly met each other until one random night in Mid-July of 2022. I (S) was out two-stepping with my friends one Saturday night and ran into one of my friends from high school who happened to have his friend, Ian, with him. It would be nice to say the rest is history here, but that's not how things played out. That first night, Ian didn't say much & I thought he was mean, so I kept my distance. Unexpectedly, he kept coming back with his buddy to the place that I would dance with my friends every weekend. After a few weeks of this, we became friends, and one night, he asked me to teach him how to dance. This was something I hated to do but he was cute, and I didn't say no. He didn't want to learn how to in front of everyone who already knew how so I brought him out to the parking lot, where we opened up the truck doors and I taught him how to dance. This was also the night I realized that I had the biggest crush on him and based on his expression in the picture, I think he had a crush on me too.

I was asked by an upcoming country artist to promote his music on my TikTok account by making a TikTok about people who fall in love all over again. My work was cut out for me, I had someone lined up to be my pretend boyfriend but that had fallen through, and I decided to ask Ian. Little did I know, this is exactly where we would get engaged a year and some change later. This is still my favorite video footage of all time.

Ian and I were a fairly new thing, so I was super nervous to ask him to help me out with this project. I was asked by an upcoming country artist to promote his music on my TikTok account by making a TikTok about people who fall in love all over again. My work was cut out for me, I had someone lined up to be my pretend boyfriend but that had fallen through, and I decided to ask Ian. Little did I know, this is exactly where we would get engaged a year and some change later. This is still my favorite video footage of all time.

September 2022

Early in September of 2022, Ian asked me to be his girlfriend. I happily accepted and he set up the most precious date at the nature reserve.

Our first Halloween

Our first Halloween was super fun! I not only got to see my long distance best friend, we got to watch her sister get married! Later on in the evening, we went to our favorite place & danced the night away in our costumes.

Our first Thanksgiving

Our first thanksgiving was a bit hectic, we were bouncing between houses all day and later that night we worked at Krush for their Black Friday sale!

Our first Christmas

I thought our first Christmas was so special. Since I had moved back into my moms house, we set up a tree and stockings in my bedroom. We even went as far as putting a fireplace on the tv while we listened to Christmas music and opened gifts. It is one of the most special moments we cherish together.

Our first New Year, we went dancing with all of our friends!

February! 2023

In February we had more than just Valentine’s Day, it was also Mardi Gras and my birthday! Ian asked what I wanted to do for it and I told him I wanted to go to the parades! He set everything up and called everyone we knew. We ended up having the best Mardi Gras surrounded by most of our sweet friends!!

March 2023

On top of celebrating Ian’s birthday, we loaded up in a very tiny Honda Civic and drove all the way to Buena Vista Colorado with Joey and Camrie. Where we both learned to ski. It was an absolute blast.

April 2023

Since Ian loves Koe Wetzel, we decided to get pit tickets when he came in town. We had the best time, met some amazing people and saw one of the coolest guitar solos.

This picture was taken shortly after we got completely drenched by a rain storm that we got caught in while riding around in his side by side. He pulled over on the side of the road and picked me these pretty flowers on the way home.
