If you had told 15 year-old Savanah that her future husband would be the, then 16 year-old boy, that just shook her hand in greeting, she would have laughed in your face (and blushed like crazy).

Cade and Savanah were good friends throughout high school. They kept tabs on each other through their first couple years of college. Then, in 2019, Cade took Savanah on their first date. Neither of them had high expectations because their colleges were in different parts of the country. But little did they know what that date would mean to them.

On March 7th, 2020, they decided to make their relationship official. Three degrees, four states, and four years later, Cade proposed in this river on July 2nd.
