Ryan and Savanna’s story begins in the hallways of Basalt High School. Ryan first caught Savanna’s attention for being the athletic, shy guy with a nice smile. Savanna caught Ryan’s eye for being the tiny girl on the volleyball team who really needed help with her bad taste in music. Both too shy to talk to one another they begged their mutual friends to share that they “liked” each other. They didn't know at the time that this fling would eventually turn into the rest of their lives. They spent the next year and a half of high school together and after graduating, they both moved on to share their college experience in Fort Collins, CO. After college they moved back to the valley and saved money by living with their parents until they “couldn’t take it any longer” … they bought their first home together! Fast forward 4 years, Ryan, Savanna and their closest friends go to the Whitewash Sand Dunes for their annual desert trip. During their traditional sunset cocktail hour Ryan dropped to one knee and although he forgot to actually say the words, “Will you marry me?”, Savanna said “Yes!”, of course. Throw a floppy Golden Retriever named Lenny into the mix and they are on their way to a great life! After more than 14 years together, we are FINALLY ready to make it official and can’t wait to share our long awaited special day with you!
