Our Love Story

Max and Savanna met in the middle of summer in 2021 when Max heroically rescued Savanna from some unwanted attention at their shared favorite bar by asking her to join him in a game of pool. Her interest had been peaked in the first sighting, reinforced by the heroic gesture and became fully solidified through the handful of games they played that evening. That evening concluded in Max hurling in the bushes wile Savanna stood by rubbing his back, and forcing him to drink water yet, the interest lingered. Despite the somewhat embarrassing end to the evening Max followed it up the next morning with an invitation to the Auburn rodeo and so began a friendship full of fun activities and outings.The weeks passed quickly as the friendship blossomed. Early morning texts led to late night pool games and lengthy conversations. Rarely a night went by when they were not together playing pool, axe throwing, escape rooms and bowling or anything that caught their interest. It is easy to say that Savanna was steadily falling head over heels for Max from the very beginning but it was a slow and steady pace which eventually; after some not so subtle hints on her side, lead Max to ask Savanna to be his girlfriend.

The beginning 

Now happily enjoying their new relationship status they began extending their adventures from local activities to road trips out of town. Holidays came and went, pool games persisted and in time Savanna dropped those first three little words. Max having never been one for saying “I love you” did not respond. The feeling was later revealed to have been mutual even if it was not said. Spring brought an entirely new adventure for Max and Savanna. Max moved to Folsom and started a new job and Savanna made the shocking announcement that she was pregnant. Upon hearing the news Max sat in completely silent shock for roughly 45 minutes before stating he was in need of pizza and a milkshake which was promptly satisfied by a run to Little Caesar’s and the purchase of a blender. The next morning it was decided that Savanna was moving to Folsom. Over the next few weeks they began the moving process and settled into this next chapter of their lives together.

The middle

The summer passed in a blur of preparations for their newest member. During this time the relationship grew from two kids hanging out and being in love into a serious loving start of a humble family. Max learned how to use his words when expressing his love more frequently and Savanna began cutting back on work and nesting all over the house. Oct. 3rd 2022 brought the arrival of the best thing to come from their relationship. Their daughter came into the world and completely took over theirs. The late night and struggles of a new born paled in comparison to the overwhelming joy her happy little body brought them. Adeline’s presence brought a new light to their relationship as they grew into parenthood together and their love and appreciation for each other grew deeper. As life so often does it threw them a curve ball and they began discussing a move to Nevada. In what seemed like a blink of an eye they were packing up and heading to their new home. After a short lived stay with Max’s dad they settled into their new apartment. Nevada was a great place for their little family but it came with its struggle. Namely the loss of Max’s best friend Ajax, their beloved dog and family member. He will always be missed and deeply loved.

Almost the end 

After extensive conversation, a few love letters and one hell of a love story Max popped the big question at Lover's Point in Monterey. Savanna could never have said anything but yes to the amazing man she'd begun this great adventure with. Now they begin the rest of their lives with the confidence that no matter what life throws their way as long as they are together they can always make it through to the other side.

Bryan is Savanna's big brother who she has always looked up to.  He is accompanied by his beautiful wife, Erin, who has been his better half since Savanna was 4 years old. Both of them have been a constant source of love and support for Savanna throughout her life.  They have been her favorite role models for how a strong relationship is built into a beautiful family.  Max and Savanna are so honored to have these two standing beside them on this very special day.

Sarah (Sese) and Savanna (Nini) have been friends since the age of two and continued to be good friends into their adult lives. While almost never living close to each other the two of them have always found a way to get together every once in a while to update each other in their different paths in life. Savanna is so excited to have Sarah standing by her side on this very special day; this has been the plan since they were old enough to know what weddings were.

Sarah

Brandon and Savanna met a about thee years ago, both working in a restaurant in Placerville. They became fast friends through the relationship they built in the work environment. Savanna being behind the bar and Brandon in the kitchen meant that she finally had a snack hook up at work which she used incessantly. Work fun turned to outside fun as they learned they had many things in common. Three years later and now miles away they still talk on a weekly basis and since Brandon was there for the news of her daughter and kept Savanna well fed through out the pregnancy it seems only fitting that he be there in a big way for this wonderful day.

Max's middle brother and best man, Alex is the glue that holds the brothers together.   He is a true brother, always there to help anyone at anytime and someone to look up to. Max is so happy to have both his brothers stand with him today.

Ryan is Max's oldest brother and the true meaning of a friend. No matter the time apart its always a good time together.

Bailey is Savanna’s cousin and friend. Though not super close as children they grew up right around the corner from one another. As adults Bailey joined Savanna as a house mate in Almanor where their relationship changed from family to friend. Together they made all kinds of trouble and spent a whole summer working their butts off by day and being young and wild by night. After that summer they both relocated, Savanna back home to Cameron park and Bailey to LA but still made time to call, usually in the middle of the night and be would be on the phone for hours updating each other and talking about random things. Savanna is so excited to have Bailey be part of her special day and the next big chapter of her life!
