Brian and Savannah were introduced by a mutual friend -- who happens to be the Maid of Honor, Heather.

Their first date was at Yard House in Troy where they enjoyed dinner and drinks followed by a nightcap at their favorite local bar -- Renshaw Lounge.

On a second date to downtown Rochester, it became clear that they wanted to spend more time together so they planned their next date -- to downtown Detroit.

On their third date, Brian planned a special evening. They first visited an arcade bar, then made their way to a landmark: The Guardian Building. After a fun night, they returned to the parking garage where Brian had parked, only to find it closed for the night. They ended up Ubering home, laughing all the way at the absurdity of being stranded in Detroit. The next morning, Savannah picked Brian up to retrieve his car, but she never let him forget the funny mistake.

It had been a frigidly cold January night when they stopped at the Guardian Building to warm up. Little did Savannah know, this spot would always hold a special place in Brian's heart. The intricate architecture on the ceilings of the building made it uniquely beautiful.

Five years later, Brian returned to that very spot, dropped down to one knee, and asked Savannah to be his wife.
