HOW WE MET

Picture of HOW WE MET

It was 2020 in the month of March(but like two weeks before the whole world shut down). Cade was down in Columbus, GA going through an Army class that I still isn't sure of the name. While I was in Atlanta stressing over my first test for flight attendant training. Now you maybe wondering how two people who were almost 100 miles apart (especially since one was supposed to move to NYC and the other couldn't go 50 miles outside of base due COVID). Well, the answer is friends! Just kidding, we met like any other millennial couple, on a dating app. Honestly, at first Cade thought he was annoying me, but turns out he was charming me so much that I gave him my phone number.

Flash forward two weeks the whole world shuts down due to a "panorama" of some sort. I was sent home from my training and Cade was stuck at home doing his class remotely. Since I was no longer going to be traveling the world (well maybe not the whole world, but turns out Little Rock, Arkansas is really nice) so we figured let's go on a date. Originally, we were supposed to go to an escape room and then get dinner, but unfortunately that didn't happen. Instead we ended up talking for five hours on Facetime. After a week of talking pretty much every night we decided to meet in person. Since I have the self preservation skills of Alexis Rose from Schitt's Creek, I thought a hike in the woods with a man I've never met in person would be a great way to meet for the first time. Beth and Preston on the other hand did not agree. Thankfully Cade isn't a serial killer and I began to make the trip down to Columbus more and more. I was falling for the cute boy from North Carolina and knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him. I knew I had my happily ever after!
