Dad brought me to the hospital. We stopped at the giftshop to get a balloon. When we got to moms room and I’m pretty sure she was already holding you. I looked down at your squishy little face. Then mom asked if I wanted to hold you. They positioned me at the end of moms hospital bed crisscross and put a pillow in my lap. I insisted that I was a big girl and that I wasn’t going to drop you. Mom said she just to be better safe than sorry and then gently placed you on the pillow in my lap.

From the moment I met Savannah, I knew she was my soulmate in female form. We began our story working as servers at Smok’n Pig BBQ one summer when she was home from college. I too a college student at the time could not have known what was in store for me once meeting her. Over the course of eight years, our lives have changed and probably us as people have evolved. But one thing remains constant, she is my rock as I am hers. She has watched me become a wife and mother and if you are lucky to find in someone who loves your children just as much as you do, keep them close. I am so happy for Sav and Nic in this next venture and to see her become a wife will be such a treasure to me. For all this I am to thank some good ol’ BBQ ❤️

In college, I was covered in biscuit dust and dried gravy working as a server in Statesboro's Cracker Barrel. Savannah's memory of this may be different than mine, but I believe during one shift, I was told to train the new girl on a section of side work. It took her 7 watchful seconds to begin showing me how to do the side work I was training her on. Over the course of the next few weeks, I learn about Savannah- her wit, her humor, her interests, her quirks, her fervent love and dependability for people she deems her friends. On Christmas break, she and I don our best Christmas apparel and go to the work Christmas party. Soon enough, Savannah's lease is up at her apartment and I invite her to live with me with my three other roommates. For one summer, this fast new friend of mine lived in the closest quarters to me than even my own sisters ever had. She and I did nearly everything together for the remainder of college. Looking back, my favorite was just the errands we would run together, the regular everyday things that we would make fun together. It did not take long for Savannah and I to become best friends and for her to become the dependable, comfortable, hilarious highlight of my young adulthood.

Once upon a time around 4 years ago I was on Nicholas Bombassi’s team at TQL, and his trainee was Savannah Bell. From there we we just hit it off. Non stop loud laughs at work and conversations. We are total opposites when it comes to our lives, there is a 10 year difference in our ages but Savannah has taught me you can be friends and have those differences and not let it affect your friendship. From our FaceTime coffee dates to now planning the wedding of her dreams.

In August 2022, Savannah and I met for the first time when Nic brought her on a family vacation to Orlando—which happened to be my birthday weekend. She was thoughtful and got me a birthday gift, even though we hadn’t met before this trip.
I remember when Nic first told me about Savannah, how much he liked her, and how excited he was to introduce her to everyone. I am thrilled to see them plan their dream wedding almost two years later. Savannah and I instantly clicked, becoming great friends right away. Our entire family has loved having her participate in holidays, celebrations, and trips. With Nic and Savannah moving to Chattanooga, I am so excited to be part of this next phase of their life!
Zachary Bombassi - Best Man
I’m Zac, the very proud younger brother of the groom. When Nic asked me to be his best man, I was honored. He is not just my brother but my best friend. Nic has always been there for me, guiding and protecting me.
Nic has always been my role model, showing me the importance of hard work, integrity, and kindness

Nick and I met July 2018 when he started at TQL. It’s funny where we are now because I didn’t really like Nick much for the first couple years. I thought he was too dry and sarcastic. Once I got to know him better at work and on the Punta Cana trip in 2022 that we became friends. This trip was also huge for Nick and Savannahs relationship!! Really cool and glad I got to see this story written.
