We met in 2016 and spent some time getting to know one another before making things "official." I had just finished PA school and we decided to move in together and start our lives. After a few months of much considered thought, I wanted a puppy and Chris agreed- we got Nala in 2017. Then I decided we needed a house for our dog and we bought our first house in October of 2018 where we made lots of memories. Chris & I got through COVID and had our COVID puppy, Gennady in 2021.

We decided to take a break in 2023 and spent time apart from one another, only to realize that with one another was really where we wanted to be. On January 7, 2024, Chris took me to the most beautiful brunch location. In a private Igloo, with the most gorgeous view, he asked me to be his wife. Of course, I said yes. We have since brought our beautiful baby girl into the world and can't wait to become The McKenzie's. We look forward to sharing this day with each of you and thank you for supporting us on our journey.
