Jacob and Savannah first met in 2010 at Penndale Middle School, where they were a part of the same friend group. They remained close throughout middle and high school, gradually growing even closer during their senior year.

After graduation, they spent as much time together as possible over the summer—going to the pool, grabbing water ice at Mom's, or simply hanging out at home.

In August 2016, Jake left for York College while Savannah took classes at community college. Just a few weeks into the semester, Jake returned home for the weekend to attend the Made in America music festival with Savannah in Philly, and it was then that they decided to make their relationship official.

Nine years later, they now live together in Lafayette Hill with their dog, Kipo, and their three cats: Haka, Maui, and Azul.

In the fall of 2024, Jake took Savannah for a weekend trip to New York City to see her favorite band, Lake Street Dive, perform at Madison Square Garden. The morning of the concert, they spent time exploring Central Park. Jake led Savannah to a vine-covered wooden gazebo, where they paused to take a few pictures. Then, in that quiet, beautiful spot, he got down on one knee and proposed. It was the perfect moment—romantic, joyful, and unforgettable— an incredible weekend start to finish.

They are so excited for this next chapter of their lives and can't wait to celebrate with all their loved ones!
