Our Wedding

They say you find the good ones when you stop looking, we couldn’t agree more.   Drew and I crossed paths in the early summer of 2018 at Kimball Bottoms, a place we would end up frequenting a lot together. I was out camping and riding with friends and he was invited to the bonfire later that night. My first thought after introductions was “don’t even try, he’s out of your league” so I went about my night but not without catching eyes with him often. The following day I’d gotten a friend request from him on Facebook, we started talking and immediately hit it off. He admitted he was staring and I confessed I thought he was not going to be interested.   Our first date was maybe a week later, he’d taken me to an autocross event a couple towns over with some friends, probably testing the waters to see if I could hang.   After that we were practically inseparable.  We bought our first house in 2019 which we still live in but have since outgrown.   Winter of 2024 we welcomed our happy little girl Carmen into the world. She’s changed our lives in the best ways and we couldn’t be happier or more proud.   We look forward to starting this new chapter of life and are thankful to have you all celebrating along with us!

She’s my youngest sister and my oldest friend. From playing dress-up as kids to watching eachother play dress-up on our biggest day, she’s always been my constant. Navigating life together one facetime at time. She knows me better than anyone, and having her as my Maid of Honor is the easiest decision I’ve made (besides saying “yes,” of course).

Technically my sister’s best friend, but over the years he’s become like an adopted brother to me. The two come as a package deal so where there’s one the other isn’t far behind! Distance has changed some things but he’s always around, always solid, and part of the family in every way that matters. Couldn’t imagine this day without him in it.

Tayler

Maddi has been a dear friend to us through so many seasons of life, and we treasure the memories we’ve created together along the way. She brings so much joy and laughter into our lives, and it means the world to us that she’ll be part of this day in such a special way. Maddi will be escorting our daughters down the aisle as flower girls, creating a moment we’ll always hold close to our hearts.

We’ve been tight since 1997, and he’s been my best friend from the very start. He’s like a brother to me — always there through every chapter of life. I wouldn’t be who I am today without him, and there’s no one else I’d rather have standing next to me on this big day.

I first met Shay while working at the vet clinic, and from the start, her kindness and easygoing nature made her such a joy to be around. Over time, our friendship has grown into something special, and I’m so grateful for all the laughs and support we’ve shared. Having her by my side on this day is an honor, and I can’t wait to celebrate together.

We’ve known each other for about 10 years, and it doesn’t take long to pack in enough memories, laughs, and good times to last forever. He’s one of those friends who turns into family — proud to have him by my side today.

Blayn

Brody and I first crossed paths back in 2015, not long after I moved to North Dakota. Fittingly, it all started at a gas station, where brody and a group of riders flagged me down I did a U-turn pulled up and a friendship took off. Since then, we’ve shared countless life experiences—working side by side for years at a gas company, staying connected when he moved away, and celebrating when he returned to start a family. Our daughters have grown to be best friends, and through it all, I couldn’t ask for a better friend to have by my side.

Brody

Joey isn’t like most of my other friends. He is the quiet, laid-back one in the group. But don’t let that fool you, he’s always ready for whatever life or the friend group throws his way. Whether it’s an adventure, a project, or just hanging out, he shows up steady and dependable every time. He might not be the loudest voice in the room, but he’s the kind of friend you can always count on, and I’m lucky to have him standing here with me today.

Botanical Garden! We have visited in the past and we were blown away! There are 3 separate domes dedicated to a specific biome inlcuding: desert, tropicals and a stunning zen garden! 8 minutes from Milwaukee 16 minutes from Shorewood

Drew’s favorite place in the world. Dipped Italian Beef Sandwich!!! don’t blink you’ll miss it

The Dogg Haus

Witches Gulch is a deep, tapered canyon and rock cavern in the Upper Dells of the Wisconsin River State Natural Area. Its only accessible by guided boat tour on the Wisconsin River, such as the Upper Dells or Jet boat tours offered by Dells Boat Tours. The two-hour tour includes dramatic rock formations, high cliffs, and exclusive landings at Witches Gulch and Stand Rock. The canyon was carved by wind and water over time.

A whimsical, creepy, curated PERSONAL collection. Including the world’s largest merry go round, a room with a full orchestra that plays by itself, and a 200ft long whale fighting an octopus are only a few of the many exhibits to enjoy! 

The House on the Rock

Thousands of plants bring the seasons to life, with colorful and fragrant displays laid out in a variety of formal gardens. Enjoy a stroll under blossoming crabapples and magnolia trees while exploring a rose garden, peony garden, daylily garden, and more! Here we work at cultivating the beauty and living legacy of Boerner Botanical Gardens to inspire, connect, and engage people with nature. With plenty if seasonal and even daily activities!

SafeHouse is a longstanding, spy-themed bar and restaurant tucked discreetly in downtown Milwaukee. Entry may require a password or a brief “clearance check,” adding a lighthearted touch of intrigue to the experience. Inside, guests will find a unique atmosphere filled with hidden passages, themed décor, and clever surprises. It’s a distinctive local spot perfect for visitors looking to explore a bit of Milwaukees funky character! 

SafeHouse Bar

A must-see for motorcycle enthusiasts and history buffs, vintage bikes, rare prototypes, and rotating special exhibits. Drew and I have visited in the past and WOW, was there a lot to look at! Located in Milwaukee

Milwaukees iconic food & event destination! Bursting with unique, high quality selections of artisan and ethnic products, and freshly-made prepared foods, youre sure to enjoy shopping the independent merchants of the Milwaukee Public Market. Eat in the Markets second floor Palm Garden or take your purchases home to be enjoyed, whatever your taste or craving! The Milwaukee Public Market has something to satisfy your appetite! The Market also showcases a variety of cooking classes featuring instructors ranging from our own vendors and local chefs to nationally known cookbook authors. The Palm Garden and Kitchen areas are also available for corporate team building events, company functions, and private parties.

We will be attending as a group Thursday June 11. With over 70 acres of attractions, this all-American summer experience has plenty of fun for everyone in your family. Drop into the most extreme water slides, or flop into a relaxing pool or lazy river. The food’s great, the drinks are cold, and good times go all day long.

Zócalo Food Park is a permanent food truck park in Milwaukees Walkers Point neighborhood, featuring a rotating selection of food trucks, a tavern, and outdoor seating with amenities like picnic tables, canopies, and a bocce ball court. It offers diverse cuisines, from tacos and burgers to Asian fusion and Lao food, with options for takeout and dine-in, and is known for its vibrant, casual atmosphere.

Our celebration is garden casual with a rooftop greenhouse, cocktail-hour vibe—think relaxed elegance with a summery, natural feel. We recommend lightweight fabrics and breathable layers in greens, purples, neutrals, or soft florals. Sundresses, midi skirts, dressy jumpsuits, linen or cotton trousers with a button-up or polo, and sport coats (no ties required) are all perfect. Temperatures in Milwaukee in June can be warm, so bring a light wrap for the evening. Feel free to dress up as much as you’d like!
