Savannah and Dillon were good friends throughout high school, and they spent a lot of time together during the summer leading up to college. One night, they went swing dancing with friends, and they started dating one month before beginning college.

Having only been dating a month prior to college, Dillon and Savannah were not planning on staying together. This decision led the two to keep the relationship a secret, but when Savannah moved to Florida, they never stopped talking. The two did not visit each other the entire first semester, and their parents did not even know about their relationship until November. The couple finally reunited in December for winter break, and each was introduced to the other's family where they were both accepted with open arms.

Although Savannah and Dillon visited each other as much as possible during the school year, the couple spent the bulk of their quality time together during the summer in college. During the Covid19 pandemic, Dillon even moved to Florida to spend the summer with Savannah, giving the couple their first look into living together.

Dillon indulged Savannah's passions to travel and try new experiences including: swimming with manatees (pictured), backpacking through Providence Canyon, going to Mexico, traveling to Puerto Rico, night swimming in a bioluminescent bay, and many others. The couple is eager to continue experiencing new adventures through life.

Throughout their relationship, Savannah and Dillon were always challenging each other to improve. Dillon influenced Savannah to discover the weight room, and from there, no matter the goal, the two always strived to push the other to meet it and do so to this day. Whether it was fitness, academic, work, or otherwise the two became partners and supported each other through it all.

There was a six month gap between Savannah and Dillon graduating, but Dillon already had his job in Madison, Wisconsin lined up. After Savannah graduated, she moved back to Cleveland while Dillon finished his last semester of school. The two then bought their first house together in Madison, and moved where Dillon began his career in software developing and Savannah continued her career in fitness while applying to law schools. The two explored Madison and began building a life together in their new home.

Dillon absolutely shocked Savannah by surprising her on what she thought was a girls trip to North Carolina. When Savannah arrived at the lake house, there was a lit pathway with rose pedals leading all the way to the dock, where Dillon waited.
