We met on an online dating app in 2019 called Coffee Meets Bagel. Savannah was intrigued by Cody's bio, which stated: " I like dogs, trees, and burritos." On our first date, we got sushi at Liberty Bar in Capitol Hill and walked around Volunteer park. Savannah thought Cody was sweet and had a nice smile. Meanwhile Cody realized he had just met the most incredible, beautiful, and intelligent woman in the world.

The dates continued. We connected over our love of animals, food, travel, and the outdoors. Early in our relationship we began to travel and explore, bonding over our new experiences. We enjoyed hiking and camping with the dogs, trying new restaurants, and visiting our favorite weekend getaway Cannon Beach, OR.

Together we've overcome many challenges from navigating uncertainties and isolation during the COVID pandemic to enduring windstorms and escaping from wild fires. Our bond was forged stronger. Our love and our trust for each other grew as we recognized how beautiful our partnership is and how much we wanted to build a life together.

Our animal family has grown over the years, and we are now up to a total of nine pets! Two dogs, four cats (including a hairless sphynx), a chameleon, a ball python, and a betta fish.
