Savannah & Brandon

Savannah and Brandon grew up in Hugo, North Carolina only 4 miles apart. Their whole lives they moved in the same circles but did not meet until the day before Brandon graduated from East Carolina University in 2019.

Growing up in a small town meant there were only so many places to go and things to do. It wasn't until they began dating that they realized there were many opportunities to meet, but it wasn't God's timing. Savannah played softball with Brandon's sister on a team sponsored by his father's business. Brandon had met and received parts and mechanic help from Savannah's Pops many times. Brandon's family had a farm with a corn maze and haunted trail which Savannah visited various times in the fall.

Fast forward to May of 2019. Savannah's best friend and maid of honor convinced her to go to Greenville for a night of fun. Liquid Pleasure was playing, so she couldn't say no. It was that night that the couple was able to finally meet and talk after all the years of running in the same circles.

The two have been together ever since. Their time has included uncountable weekend trips home or to Raleigh, a shared love for racing, joyous times at the river, and many other special moments and memories. Through the easy and hard times, they have remained constant.

Savannah's family takes a yearly trip during the holidays to escape to somewhere warm. On their 2022 trip, they went to Turks and Caicos and Brandon had bigger plans than just a family vacation. He worked with her parents weeks before up to hours before to create a special moment but God ultimately opened the door for a perfect plan.

On New Year's Eve, Savannah tried to take a timelapse of the sunset. She had filmed for thirty minutes and right as the sun was going to disappear, a cloud came out of nowhere and spoiled her plans. He promised her they would try again the next day before dinner.

New Year's Day, the couple went back to the same spot and Savannah not only captured the sunset, but she also captured their proposal which included a photographer Brandon had set up earlier in the day. It truly was a picture perfect engagement and the two could not contain their happiness for their pending nuptials and new chapter together.
