In God's Perfect Timing

Picture of In God's Perfect Timing

Jamison's journey took him through many places and seasons before landing in Georgia. He didn't fully understand why God was calling him there, but he trusted the pull and made the move. He showed up at church the following Sunday, unaware that he would soon call that church home, and that God had been preparing something far greater for him than he imagined.

Savannah, on the other hand, was Columbus through and through. She grew up an athlete, and a gorgeous one at that - blond hair like a wildfire in the wind, untamed and beautiful. Blue eyes that cut through you like a river runs through rock. And a singing voice that feels like the first rain after a summer drought. The.whole.package. She hadn't had any luck finding a good man to love her right, she had spent several years faithfully serving and trusting God's timing, even when the waiting wasn't easy. What she didn't realize was that God was busy preparing her heart while He moved Jamison across the country, right on time.

When Jamison and Savannah met at church, the spark was immediate fireworks for both of them. But unbeknownst to Jamison, Savannah had committed to a fast, dedicating that season to focusing solely on God and setting aside dating. Jamison was certain there was something there, but she kept her distance - not because she wasn't interested, but because God was still preparing the moment when their paths would truly align.

That moment came on May 2nd. Savannah invited Jamison to her birthday dinner, and what he didn't know was that her fast had just ended. Sensing a chance, Jamison brought along something simple but heartfelt - a crayon drawing he had made for her of her singing at church. It was playful, sweet, and unforgettably ridiculous. And in that moment, God's timing finally clicked into place.

From there, their story moved quickly, not because it was rushed, but because it was clear. The connection between them was so effortless, full of joy, and anchored in faith. What began with a spark turned into something steady and unshakable - a love so natural it felt less like they were starting something new and more like they had finally found what God had always intended. And now, they can't wait to step into the next chapter of that story together - marriage.
