It all began in the early hours of June 9, 2018 — a late-night Snapchat exchange that led to Bobby and Savannah swapping phone numbers so they could keep talking just a little longer. Neither of them knew it at the time, but that simple exchange would change everything.

Just over a week later, on June 18, 2018, they met for their very first date at one of Lancaster’s beloved mom-and-pop diners, Todd’s Mountainview. Savannah drove all the way from Cincinnati for that date — and it turned out to be well worth the trip. The conversation flowed effortlessly, laughter filled the booth, and before the day was over, they decided they didn’t want it to end. So, they went on a second date that very same day — a walk in the park with Savannah’s dog, Sadie, marking the start of countless adventures to come.

From there, their love only grew stronger. Bobby spent weekends traveling to Cincinnati to visit Savannah while she finished college, and when she graduated in 2019, she moved back home to Lancaster. Around the same time, Bobby was accepted into medical school at Case Western Reserve and made the big move to Cleveland, Ohio. Now it was Savannah’s turn to pack up the car and make those weekend trips north to visit the man she loved.

In 2021, the two took their next big step and moved in together, creating their first home in Cleveland — a cozy apartment filled with laughter, late-night study sessions, and plenty of cuddles from Sadie.

Then, on May 14, 2023, Bobby got down on one knee and proposed to Savannah in beautiful Honolulu, Hawaii — a moment that felt like a dream come true. Just a month later, they bought their first home together in Cleveland, where Bobby had matched for his medical residency in Orthopedic Surgery.

Today, Bobby and Savannah are happily building their life together — exploring new corners of Cleveland, enjoying quiet nights in with their fur babies, and cherishing every moment of this journey.

And now, they’re counting down the days until they say “I do” — on May 9, 2026 — ready to begin the next beautiful chapter of their love story.
