What airport should I fly into?

Eagle/Vail - 1.5 hrs away, Aspen - 1.5 hrs away, Grand Junction Airport - 2 hrs away, Denver airport - 4 hrs away,

Directions to Marble

From Denver: Take I-70 to Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Head south through town 12 miles on Colorado Highway 82 to Carbondale. Take a right at the stoplight and head south on Colorado 133. This is your last chance for gas and groceries! ~30 minutes from the wedding venue

Is there cell reception?

Marble, CO has very limited to no cell reception. Make sure to have directions loaded before you leave Carbondale. Please be prepared! Most inns, vrbos, and shops in the area have starlink. Starlink provides fast and reliable internet access so no need to worry :D

Where will the wedding take place?

The wedding and reception will be outdoors in a grass field (thin heeled shoes may be difficult to walk in). We will have a large tent with walls for dining. If there is inclement weather all activities will be moved into the tent and heaters will be provided.

What elevation is Marble, CO and do I have to worry about altitude sickness?

Marble, CO is 8,000 ft above sea level. While not common altitude sickness is a possibility. For those coming in from out of state please take the following precautions to avoid altitude sickness:

- Stay well-hydrated and limit alcohol consumption (at least for the first 24 hours)

- If you know you are predisposed to altitude sickness, you can ask your doctor for preventive medications such as acetazolamide (the brand name is “Diamox”);

- Take acetaminophen or ibuprofen for mild headaches

What will the weather be like?

Colorado weather can be unpredictable. However, we expect the weather to be pleasant, around 60-70 degrees. Temperatures cool significantly at night so please bring a jacket!
