Michael and I met through our families and was set up on a first date. Our date did not go well and we lost touch for 5 years. On December 11, 2020, I reached back out to Michael to catch up and we started talking every single day and decided to go out on another date whenever Michael came home for Christmas from Colorado. We went on our first date on December 20th, 2021 to dinner and a movie. It was after our third date to Bellingrath Gardens that we both knew that we had feelings for each other. Michael then asked me to be his girlfriend on December 26th, 2021. We were in a long distance relationship until August 21st, 2023. We went on a weekend trip to Salem, MA where Michael proposed on October 7th, 2023.
