The story of Savannah and Erek begins in September of 2018 when they both started PA school at Hofstra University. Savannah noticed Erek immediately and implored her friends to find him on social media to learn more about him. Much to their shock (and expert investigative skills) they were unable to find any information about Erek.

After completing their first semester of PA school the class decided to throw a Christmas party. It was at this Christmas party that Savannah and Erek spoke for the first time. The conversation they had was about Savannah's previous knee surgeries.

The second semester of PA school started and much to Savannah's delight her and Erek were placed in not one, but two group projects together. She then used this excuse of group projects to text Erek for the first time in January of 2019. After that first text Erek and Savannah consistently talked to each other every day.

Finally Savannah's housemates decided to host a chicken cutlet night and Savannah decided to invite Erek. Much to everyones surprise Savannah and Erek hardly spoke to each other the entire night (Sav is shy okay). This is when Emily decided to intervene. As Erek was slowly getting ready to leave at the end of the night Emily decided he desperately needed a tour of the house, including the laundry room (which was next to Savannah's room). As Emily and Erek were walking past Savannah's room she shoved Erek into the room, slammed the door, and then ran into her room across the hall. Emilys then boyfriend and now Fiancé turned to her and said "there is no way that worked," evidently, Kurt, it did because here we are.

Savannah and Erek kept their relationship low key, really only known to those friends close to them. At the end of the second semester their class hosted a PA formal which is finally when everyone became aware of their relationship when the song "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran played and Savannah and Erek slow danced together for the first time.

Savannah and Erek completed PA school together and survived working the 2020 COVID pandemic working in the COVID ICU and Urgent Care setting. They graduated and both began careers as PAs in Spine Surgery and Urgent Care.

Throughout their time together so far they lived at Savannah's college house near Hofstra or with Erek's parents, so in July of 2021 they finally got an apartment of their own

In March of 2022 Erek and Savannah planned a trip to the Bahamas. Savannah had no idea of Ereks plans to propose. On the first night of their trip Erek had the hotel decorate their room while they were at dinner with the intent of proposing there, however Savannah decided she wanted stay downstairs to dance outside on the hotel lobby patio despite Erek's pleas to go back to the room. The band that was in the lobby began playing their song "Perfect." Erek decided this would be the best opportunity to propose since it was clear Savannah was not going to let him drag her away from dancing. While Savannah was in the bathroom Erek ran back upstairs to grab the ring (also proceeded to throw up from nerves) and then met Savannah back out at the patio where she was still (very badly) dancing. Erek then got down on one knee and popped the question :)
