Our Story

Savannah and Florian began dating in 2016, but knew each other some years before that. Florian grew up with Savannah’s older sister (Sierra) and now brother-in-law (Philip), and in effect was always close to the family and in contact with Savannah. Their actual first time meeting was at the old Mt. Charley’s bar in Los Gatos! Florian was tasked with sneaking her into the club at age 18, at the request of Savannah's sister and brother-in-law (please do not report us!). But through these years, you can say they were never aligned or right for each other for various reasons until, one special day, Savannah reached out to Florian to reconnect over her sister, Sierra’s bachelorette party in San Diego. Through reconnecting, they quickly realized the other had grown to become attractive and intriguing in all walks of life, and they became insatiable of one another!

What ensued was hours upon hours of facetiming, calls and texts, until a few months later they became official. For the next 10 months, they were a long-distance couple which consisted of trips to see each other every 3 weeks on average. In between, not a night went by without at least 2 hours of facetiming: lots of laughter, learning, and foundation building!

Florian had an opportunity to move back to San Jose while Savannah saved money to eventually move down to San Diego, and so after 10 months, they were now living in the same city. They got to enjoy a more normal relationship until about a year later, after much hard work and persistence, Savannah uprooted her daycare business and moved to San Diego! They moved into a home together and Florian started his real estate career, and that was that.

Flash forward to today, Savannah and Florian have enjoyed 8 loving years of tremendous growth in both their relationships, and as individuals, and feel blessed and truly grateful to live the life they have today with the people they get to share it with.
