Our story starts in Tallahassee, Florida at Florida State University. Our first encounter was in Sight Singing class. We didn't talk much at the beginning (especially Jacob) but as time progressed we started to get a little bit closer and talk more often. Some time passed with not a ton of interaction other than some conversations here and there and the daily snapchat streaks we sent to each other. During the summer after our freshman year, Savannah ended up over in the Melbourne area (close to where Jake is from) for a friends lacrosse tournament. Feeling particularly bored, Jake decided to reach out and see if her and her friends wanted to get together while they were in town. From there we started talking more and became pretty good friends. When we went back to FSU, we started to hang out a lot more. At some point between August and October, it had become pretty clear that Jake had some feelings for Savannah. Pretty clear... to everyone except for Savannah, who after being told by all of her friends, still refused to believe that it was true. One night, we were hanging out as usual in Savannah's dorm with some of her friends. After awhile they left and we ended up spending that whole night staying up and just talking. If you asked us what we were talking about, we can honestly say we have no idea, but it was a special night because we both found out how much we enjoyed each other's company. At this point, Savannah was pretty certain that Jake did in fact have feelings for her. and that those feelings were reciprocated. After a couple of weeks, we decided to make it official and actually start dating. Since then we've had a crazy ride through life. Going through the rest of school, starting jobs, buying a car, and moving in together. On March 12th, 2023 Jake proposed to Savannah and they decided to live happily ever after!
