Savannah's Side:

Gavin and I went to the same school from when I was in fifth grade and he was in sixth all the way until we graduated high school. I was best friends with his little sister Grace in fifth grade and we hung out all the time, but I never remember seeing Gavin around HAHA! He claims that he remembers where I sat in Kid's Church and that I was his "crush". It wasn't until senior year of high school when I gave my life to the Lord and I started getting plugged into Celebration Church. After all of those years, Grace and I became best friends again. She was in both of our ears! I remember telling my parents "you CANNOT tell Pastor Johnny that I think Gavin is cute"... My dad spoiled it. But thankfully Gavin thought the same thing! On May 23, 2022, Gavin asked me to be his girlfriend. It took him FOREVER. We did long distance my freshman year while I was at Auburn, and now I am back home at South! We had been dating for two years on May 23, 2024 and now engaged on June 5, 2024! Gavin is now the Worship Pastor at Celebration Church and I am finishing up my senior year of college studying Public Relations, as well as getting my Real Estate License. We love serving Jesus together, eating at taco bell or buffalo wild wings, and going on walks! If you were to tell either of us while we were still in high school that this was going to happen we would call you crazy. I am so in awe of the Lord's faithfulness and attention to detail. We are so excited to start this journey together and love that you get to be apart!
