Our Wedding

Our story began in the Montana mountains. We met amidst a wedding, and in that celebration of love our own story began. What started as a long-distance relationship turned into a move to Colorado, countless adventures, shared laughter, many shenanigans and a love that continues to grow stronger every day. We eloped in May of 2024, in a small private ceremony with friends and family who would not be able to attend our formal Catholic wedding in September. So yeah, we're legally married, but we wanted to do it BIG in front of God and everyone. We are thrilled to be taking this next step in our relationship with all of you by our sides.

Our Story

Haley may look sweet and innocent, but she’s the ultimate enforcer of wedding rules and the bride's go-to partner in crime. If you’re thinking about wearing white to this wedding, consider this your warning. With Haley on the team, she’s not just making sure everything goes off without a hitch—she’s making it unforgettable (and super hilarious).

Hanna Slaughter? More like SLAY QUEEN. Hanna is an angel on earth and a human ray of sunshine. When she's not lighting up every room she walks into she can be found wrangling her goblin dog, Gracie. She is an incredible performer and an even better friend. That said, she is in charge of taking out the groom's kneecaps should he try to run away.

Elizabeth is the calm in the storm and the glue that holds this whole operation together. Her poise and kindness keep everyone grounded. Whether it’s offering sage advice or simply being her lovely self, Elizabeth is the steady hand behind the scenes that will ensure the bride doesn't cry too hard.

By day, Jalyn is a master of classroom chaos, wrangling students and educating the next generation. By night, she’s the life of the party and a dedicated family gal. At the wedding, she’ll make sure everything runs smoothly—because if she can handle a classroom, a wedding’s a piece of cake.

Michael is an Emmy-award winning bridesman. Taking a short break from his prestigious studies at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts MFA program, he will be gracing our presence with his classic charisma and charm. Just please wait until after the ceremony to get his autograph!

Who needs metallic accents in the wedding color palette  when Dean already has a heart of gold? He's what the kids call a "bestie for the restie." Dean is one of the best meme-makers and earth-shakers to grace the natural world. He will also be handling the pyrotechnics for the reception.

Dean

The title of 'Best Man' fits Tyler perfectly. A long-time friend of the groom, he has been there through thick and thin. Always willing to help out, Tyler is a true gentleman and will not hesitate to tell you why he is the reason that Jackson and Savannah are together. He's a great member of the wedding party team- just don't challenge him in any card games or fighting games. He will annihilate you.

Tait, Jackson’s brother-in-law, is living proof that mascots have hearts too—especially when they’re made of Cornhusker pride. As the former Herbie Husker mascot for Nebraska, Tait knows how to rally a crowd and strike a winning pose (even when it involves oversized foam hands). When he’s not reminding everyone that he once embodied Nebraska’s finest, he’s probably cracking a joke or coming up with a new reason why he should have been Jackson’s first call for best man. Tait brings the spirit, the laughs, and a subtle reminder to "Go Big Red!" wherever he goes.

Israel is a true hero, both in his service to the Army and for throwing the wedding where Savannah and Jackson first met—he’s basically Cupid with a catering budget. Israel is an impeccable addition to the team AND BONUS FUN FACT: he's married to the Maid of Honor.

Casey is a delight by day and a fearless Dungeons & Dragons adventurer by night—though his true talent lies in making sure the groom never rolls a natural one in friendship. Whether he’s on stage or at the gaming table, Casey knows how to keep the drama alive (in the best way possible- I mean, have you MET the BRIDE??). With his quick wit, larger-than-life charisma, and a knack for turning every quest into a comedy, Casey is proof that sometimes, the dice really do land in your favor.

Sarah is a master of magic, whether she’s rolling dice in a Dungeons & Dragons campaign or bringing fantasy worlds to life with her incredible cosplay. As the real-life inspiration for every bard’s ballad and rogue’s disguise, Sarah knows how to turn heads and steal the show. Equal parts creative genius and adventuring partner, she’s the kind of person you want on your team—whether you’re singing your lungs out at karaoke, trying to win trivia night, or throwing the best wedding ever.
