Our story begins in March of 2015, when Chase left his phone number on a Chipotle napkin on Savannah's windshield. After persuasion from her friends and sister, Savannah and Chase met for a double date at the movies. On April 25, 2015 we officially became a couple.
We attended college together in 2016 at Wittenberg University. Chase pursued a dual degree in Marketing and Sports Management as Savannah studied Biology. We graduated at the beginning of quarantine in 2020 and "stomped the seal" in the driveway of the Taylor Household at our back yard graduation surrounded by our families.
We pursued Masters degrees following graduation and moved to Findlay to be together as Savannah completed PA school. Our family grew in 2021, when we adopted our golden doodle, Coney. Coney stole our hearts and has been spoiled ever since we brought him home with us.
As 2023 approached, our focus shifted towards plans after completing graduate school. Conversations about getting married and where to move to became more and more frequent as we became excited about the next steps in our lives together.
Our engagement is without a doubt the best day of our lives. Chase spent months planning the big day making sure it would be a surprise. He proposed on July 23, 2022 at Red River Gorge on the Sky Bridge. While on one knee, Chase made sure to have his Chipotle napkin ready, "How it all started . . . Marry Me?" We had been together for 8 years but were filled with butterflies and both shaking as if it was our first date all over again. Chase planned everything perfectly going above and beyond, but made sure of two things. 1. That Savannah's nails were done and 2. That we had pictures to remember the moment. Following the engagement, we were surprised by both of our families as they bombarded us in the road. We celebrated all night long as we sang, danced, drank, and felt an overwhelming amount of love and excitement from our families and friends as we took the next step in our lives together.
Our relationship started as kids, but our friendship and love for each other has grown immensely. We have become a part of each others families and have spent nearly the last decade creating a life with each other. We are beyond excited to have you celebrate our next adventure with us and look forward for you to be a part of our wedding!
