In Memory
On our special day, we would like to remember those who will attend in spirit.
Kenneth "Kenny" Akers (Pawpaw) was a music-loving, WVU football-supporting father and grandfather to Savannah, but we all just called him "pawpaw." He is affectionately remembered for his ability to make any person laugh and to always make a situation interesting in public.
Delores Sofranko (Nana) was a loving mother and Genesis's grandmother, affectionately titled "Nana" to everyone who knew her. We remember her fondly, as she had wished to help us plan and execute the wedding of our dreams.
Cindy Mihalko (Mom) was the most incredible, punk-rock mother and trusted friend to Genesis. She loved legos, trees, and her cats, Guinness and Gertie. Most of all, she was Genesis's biggest fan and strongest supporter.
