Our Wedding

When Savi first met David, she couldn’t quite keep up — he talked so fast, she could barely understand a word. But behind the quick speech was a kind heart and warm spirit that slowly found its place in her life. Over the years, David became more than just a familiar face. He became a dear family friend… someone she trusted, admired, and thought the world of. He was always there — helping, listening, showing up. But it wasn’t until much later that fate finally decided to speak up. One ordinary day, Savi’s American dad called David. To this day, no one really knows why. But when David called back, he ended up on the phone with Savi instead. With her usual playful charm, she teased, “So… are you married yet?” He wasn’t. Neither was she. And just like that, something shifted. That call turned into hours of conversation, laughter, and the kind of ease that feels like home. Not long after, Savi invited David to Bike Week — planning, in true Savi fashion, to set him up with one of her friends. But somewhere between the rev of engines and the rhythm of laughter, something unexpected happened… they found each other. Since then, life has brought them through seasons of joy and sorrow — quiet mornings, wild adventures, deep losses, and unforgettable moments. But through it all, they held onto each other — stronger, softer, and more in love with every chapter. Then, just after midnight on New Year’s Day 2025, as fireworks lit the sky with hope, David asked Savi the most beautiful question. And with tears in her eyes and a heart full of love, she said yes.

He stole my heart, so I’m taking his last name...
