Sayde & Jared met at Belle Chasse High School in 2013. Jared remembers first seeing Sayde walking to class in a cheerleading jacket and was attracted to how she "minded her business". Sayde heard of Jareds interest and had a mutual friend give Jared her phone number. After what Sayde remembers to be two weeks with no call or text (Jared says two days)... Sayde texted first and the rest is history.

After High School, Sayde went to college where Jared visited every weekend. They made plans to travel to somewhere new each year-- exploring the coast of Cali, finding the tallest sky scrapers in Chigaco, and riding the continental divide in Colorado.

Jared proposed a few months after college graduation on a cliff in San Diego. Sayde thought she was ending day 1 with dinner at Dukes in La Jolla, but instead made a stop to "see the sea lions". Jared led Sayde to a spot on the cliff called The Wedding Bowl and got down on one knee. Needless to say Sayde said yes (and they did end up eating at Dukes)
