Our story started in April 2016. Back then we were both still finishing our graduate programs. A flexible schedule as students means we could spend every day together. It was truly a carefree time! During that time, Angie was learning how to drive and Scott's 1994 Grand Cherokee (with a missing muffler) became Angie's best friend. Although it took 5 tries, Angie did finally get her license. During the same summer, Angie was studying full time for the CPA exams. Scott kept Angie company by giving her words of encouragements as well as chicken snacks from Domino's from time to time. Many years later, Scott is still the one feeding Angie snacks when Angie works late at night.

Over the years, Scott has mastered several traditional Chinese dishes, including scallion oil noodles, hainanese chicken, silkie chichen soup, etc. He's always ready to make something that makes her smile.

In 2020, Scott and Angie made an epic plan to visit China together and go to the Japan Olympics. It was only after the tickets were booked when COVID took over the world. 4 years later, Scott finally got to visit Asia and see Angie's family in China. A few months later, we were finally able to go to the Olympics in Paris as well.

Scott and Angie has spent almost 10 years being by each other's side, supporting each other through the many ups and downs of their lives. They know even though they may never be perfect, they will always overcome obstacles together, make each other stronger and love each other.
