The resort has blocked off 5 Lodge rooms, 2-1 bedroom (Willow) cabins, 4- 2 bedroom cabins (Hickory), 2-2 bedroom cabins (Azalea), and 3-3 bedroom cabins (Hemlock) for our wedding guests. Due to it being a holiday weekend, all cabins require a 2 night minimum stay. If you are in the wedding party, please book Friday and Saturday night at a minimum. These rooms are at a discounted rate then on the website. Please call 828-498-2211 to reserve a cabin or room under Moore-Kermode wedding block. Cabins and rooms need to be reserved ASAP to ensure availability. It is memorial day weekend after all.

We please ask our military veterans and active duty personnel to wear there military uniforms. All other guest please wear cocktail attire. No jeans or tennis shoes please.

As we both are combining our 2 houses into one, we aren’t creating a traditional registry as we have been blessed with everything we need. If you would like to honor the bride and groom with a gift, we would ask that you send monetary donations to help us grow our future new house fund or help us enjoy our honeymoon to the fullest.

The ceremony will take place at the Fontana Dam Pavilion & Overlook. If you are leaving the resort, you will take a right on Hwy 28 and follow the road about 2 miles. You can also plug in Fontana Dam Visitor Center in your gps. The parking lot to the pavilion is on the right just before you cross the bridge to the Dam visitor center. We would advise you carpool as much as possible to make sure we have plenty of space for all guests to park.

Our reception will be immediately following our ceremony at the Wildwood Sundeck which is located on the resort adjacent to the Event Hall. This is conveniently located in the center of the village.
