From the Airport to the Hotel (Barcelona)
- Bus: The 'Aerobus' leaves from both of the airport's terminals every 12 to 15 minutes. It is fast and comfortable, with space for all kinds of luggage. Single ticket: € 5.90 (Return ticket with discount: € 10.20). The journey to Barcelona city center takes around 20-25 minutes. Take the 'Aerobus' to Plaza Catalunya, difficult to miss! The hotel is 5 minutes in a taxi that will cost about €5.00 - €8.00. Alternatively, you can catch the metro and take the Green Line to Diagonal. Hotel Granados 83 is a 5 minute walk from the metro station.
- Taxi: The airport taxi ranks are located at the entrance to each terminal. The approximate cost of the journey is € 30-35 and the drive to the hotel takes around 20-30 minutes.
- We will have a private shuttle to Lloret de Mar leaving from Hotel Granados 83 on October 4th at 4:00pm for ~17€ per person.

Train to Blanes from Barcelona centre:
Single train ticket: €5.40
Return train ticket: €10.80
The train journey will from Barcelona Sants station to Blanes train station will take approximately 1.5 hours. Once in Blanes you will need to transfer to the bus to get to Lloret de Mar.
If you are staying in Barcelona, the easiest way to get to Barcelona Sants is via the metro (underground) system. The metro stop is called Barcelona Sants.
You can also rent a car or take the public bus.
Barcelona - Hotel Granados 83
If you are planning to arrive early, we recommend the Derby hotels in Barcelona. We are personally familiar with are Granados 83 (4 star) and the Claris (5 star), both located in the Eixample neighborhood.
We were able to get a 2% discount at the Derby Hotels in Barcelona. We will be staying at the Hotel Granados 83 from 9/30-10/4. **The shuttle to Lloret de Mar will pick up from this hotel on 10/4 at 4:00pm. Cost is ~17€ per person.
