Our Wedding

We met Fall of 2019 right before Scott was headed to Texas to record an album and continue touring while Joanna and Koen were headed to Portugal. It took a pandemic for us to connect again and the rest is history. Well, mostly weekends full of biking, house projects, and a little more biking.

Nye, Montana is a beautiful rural spot between Livingston and Red Lodge. The nearest airport will be Billings, MT (1.5 hours) with Bozeman being the next closest at 2 hours. House Address: 173 Spreading Winge Lane, Nye, MT 59061 Once you have turned onto spreading winge lane, go to the very end of the lane (map apps sometimes stop early). You will drive ~1.2 miles on Spreading Wine Lane.

The cabin is at the end of Spreading Winge Lane along the Stillwater river. It’s important to take the route that goes through Fishtail if coming from Columbus. Occasionally map apps try to send you down a backroad and it is very slow. Choose the route that goes Absorkee and through Fishtail. Spreading winge lane (wing is spelled with  the extra e) is before Nye and we’ll have road signs out for you to help!

Parker Cabin

An outdoor installation of sculptures by some of the world's foremost artists and architects. There are multiple trails and varying difficulties.

Tippet Rise Art Center-A Hikeable and Bikeable Art Park

This is a nice waterfall hike within a few minutes of the Parker's place.

Woodbine Falls Trailhead

This is a 3 mile hike (6 miles in and back) to a beautiful lake in the Beartooth range.

Mystic Lake Trailhead

A cute town full of little shops to explore. This is about 45 minutes from Nye.

Red lodge

This is Montana's tallest peak and would be crazy to do after partying all night at a wedding.
