Allegedly, on April 14, 2012, two emo kids met at the Burlington Mall food court through mutual friends. Scott had on full goth face makeup. Jill had swoopy side-bangs (only the bangs were bleached) and bad eyeliner.

For the next few years, Scott and Jill communicated mostly online, via pokes and instant messaging. Though they saw other people during this time period, Scott would periodically ask Jill out...and get turned down.

However, he didn't lose hope, and the two started dating on April 22, 2019. There were many dates to flower fields, museums, farmstands, book stores, and of course the soap lady up on Mount Cardigan. There were many Lego dates, and Scott got Jill her first set to do.

Scott proved a great step-dad to George (even though he wouldn't snuggle with Scott for FOUR YEARS), and Tacey immediately claimed Jill as her step-mom. Nelson, Angel, and Fig also got spoiled rotten by them, too.

On February 20, 2023, Scott proposed, and Jill didn't realize that was what happened. But it did! Jill and George moved in a few months later, and Tacey learned to love her brother a lot (he pretends he's mad about it). They got a tiny new sibling, Mushroom, too.

The two had Nana Burns get ordained for the day, and she married them on April 22, 2024 in the Tibur family living room. They exchanged vows privately at The Butterfly Garden for their five-year anniversary. Andrea Cutts was there to document the occasion and took so many beautiful photos.

Now is where you come in! Scott and Jill are excited to celebrate their marriage with their friends and families. We are so grateful for all of your support through the years.
