The story begins at Christmas time on the final FND (Friday Night Disco) of the year. Jess and Scott's paths hadn't yet crossed despite being in the same uni halls for 3 months. This pic was taken in their halls of residency (DC till we die) a few months later.

Their first staycation together was during Christmas time (have you spotted the theme yet?) at Highgate house in Northampton, not too far away from Hampton Manor.

Cadburys World being close to Uni, was a blessing. The perfect activity for a foodie couple. It was a shame that Costa coffee decided to give Scott food poisoning that morning, but he took it like a champ and still ate every available Chocolate sample.

The first 'proper' holiday. This photo was taken in Barcelona but the holiday was actually in cheap and cheerful Salou. Since this trip they've returned several times to Spanish soil to fav party spot....Ibiza!

After a full on year of work in London on their placement year it was time for a long awaited travelling adventure! First stop, Dubai. Jess particularly enjoyed the all you can eat Chocolate brunch and not so much the water park (there may have been tears).

After eating some of the greatest curry known to mankind and Safari adventures in Sri Lanka, the next stop was Kuala Lumpur. This snap was taken at the Batu Caves where Scott got into a fight with a monkey over a packet of Oreos...Scott won.

Singapore holds the record for the smallest hotel room ever stayed in, as well as fond memories of the pristine city, delicious street food and a mesmerising city skyline.

The final destination and the longest stay in one place was on the beautiful island of Krabi in Thailand. The plan was to spend a week basking on the beaches but Jess's food poisoning (top tip: don't order spaghetti Bolognese in Thailand) and rainy season had other plans in mind.

Scott graduated Loughborough a year after Jess with his Masters Degree, meanwhile Jess began her career in London. In summer, finally the year of a long distance relationship was over!

Just a pair of millennials clinging on to uni party days at a 90's theme party. Scott was rocking the double denim hard.

After 3 fun filled years of Jess living with her maid of honour Cynthia in North London and Scott saving the pennies back home in Surrey, it was time to start their next journey in the chapter....co-habitation.

After a few short weeks, Scott had enough and escaped to India for 3 months of 'work'. You can imagine Jess wasn't best pleased, but it wasn't all bad, she had fun decorating the flat in ways Scott would never agree to if he was in the same country.

Halfway through Scotts Indian adventure, Jess tracked the runaway down in Bangalore and from there they enjoyed trips to Kerela...

...and the Mountain town of Ooty.

The first party at Casa Fritillary was a a stylish black tie affair seeing in the new year.

Bali at Easter time was not only a great annual leave hack but also one of the couples most treasured holidays.

Of course there was plenty of great food but the highlight was the cooking school!

2020 was the year everything changed for everyone. Toilet paper was nowhere to be found, banana bread went viral and for Scott and Jess it meant turning to food as a source of creativity and at times sanity! In april, their Instagram food account stuck_in_the_kitchen was born.

The pandemic meant lots of time at home and like many, Scott and Jess introduced some new life into their home. Baby Katsu and Miso brought so much joy to Casa Fritillary and kept the couple going through lockdown.

A instagram advert for a 'foodie staycation' caught Jess's attention and so she booked a surprise trip there as a belated 10 year anniversary celebration. This secret didn't last very long as the excitement was just too much. Here's Scott enjoying 'the best meal ever' in Peels restaurant at Hampton Manor.

Scott surprised Jess with a trip to Manchester to see one of their favourite artists, Ed Sheeran.

After countless parties together its hard to choose a favourite but seeing Calvin Harris in Ushuaia (Ibiza) is up there!

A year later the couple returned to Hampton Manor for a second 'foodie staycation', this was the perfect Christmas gift to each other.

It turns out, if you hire a massive villa and invite all your friends for 3 days of delicious food, partying and chilling by the pool, turning 30 isn't that bad!

Scott took a leap of faith and quit his job in June to pursue his entrepreneurial ambitions. Come August he founded a Climate Tech company, GRYD. Here is Scott with his cofounders Mo and Tom.

Earlier in the year Scott booked a trip to Wilderness reserve, a secret he kept right up to the arrival. Even in the car journey Jess had no idea where the couple was going. The couple arrived to the most beautiful estate and their own cabin equipped with an island, rowing boat and Hottub. Honestly it was the stuff of dreams!

The inside of the cabin was just as beautiful as the outside. Scott had also planned all the food for the duration of the trip which turned out to be too much and the couple had to take leftovers home that lasted for days, they didn't mind that though.

On the final evening, somewhere in between playing monopoly deal on the island and a sunset dip in the hot tub, Scott popped the question. It was short and sweet, just like Scott. Jess was so happy she didn't know what to say and just kept repeating thank you for the ring, to be fair, it really was perfect. The couple celebrated with a run, which was strange for two reasons, 1 Jess doesn't run, 2 Jess suggested it.

In October the couple went on a hiking holiday to Georgia with dear friends Hattie and Cal. Georgia was a beautiful country and it was great spending quality time with friends whom live abroad. If you ask Jess this is the first and last Hiking holiday, if you ask Scott this is the first of many to come! Only time will tell.

Earlier this year the couple said goodbye to their beloved Katsu who passed away suddenly, it wasn't the start to the year they expected but they look back fondly on all the lovely memories and joy Katsu brought to their lives.

Once Hampton Manor was secured, wedding planning was in full swing! Here's Jess with London based bridesmaids Cynthia and Alex wedding dress shopping.

After bold claims of "no more hiking holidays", Jess and Scott visited the Peak district just 3 months after Georgia, perhaps there is hope for Jess yet.

Miso being the solo cat of the house was too much power for him to handle and so Scott and Jess decided to get him a little companion. They welcomed Panko into their home and Miso accepted her within just a week. Being the drama king he is, there was some initial shock but he's now loving the company.

With just over 6 months to go the couple went to see the artist of their first dance song... we'll leave the story there for now.
