While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so that you can celebrate with us!
Can I bring a plus one?
Unfortunately, we have a set guest list. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We ask that guests NOT take photos during the ceremony, as we will have a photographer present.
What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
The dress code for our wedding is semi formal/cocktail attire. We are encouraging guests to wear pastel colors and/or floral prints (think Easter colors!). Since it will be hot, men do not need to wear a sports coat unless they choose to do so- a button down with trousers/khakis will be fine. Please, no shorts.
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
Both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors. Since it will be mid-August, it will be hot. Handheld fans and water will be available for the ceremony. We recommend flat-soled shoes or wedges/chunky heels to avoid sinking into the grass.
What happens after the ceremony?
After the ceremony, the wedding party/family will be taking pictures for thirty to forty-five minutes. Guests can head straight to the reception area, choose a table, and grab some food and a beverage!
How do I get to the wedding venue? Where should I park?
The address to the venue is listed on your invitation. We will have signs displayed and someone directing you where to park. There will also be a sign displayed for handicap parking. Please let us know prior to the wedding if you will need parking accommodations. Additionally, PLEASE carpool where possible. Parking space is somewhat limited and we want guests to be able to easily enter/exit the venue.
What time should I arrive? What time does the reception end?
The ceremony will begin at 6:30. We are asking guests to arrive no earlier than 5:30 and no later than 6:15. The reception will last from 7:00 to 10:00. The speeches and champagne toasts (a non-alcoholic option will be available) will be given between 8:00 and 8:30.
