Callie and Sean met in Florence, AL in May of 2018. The two trained with a team of college students in preparation for a month long mission trip to Seattle, WA. It was during this summer that they developed a genuine friendship and saw the other faithfully following Jesus. Over time they realized how much they enjoyed spending time and serving the Lord together.

They returned to Alabama with a mutual, unspoken desire to pursue the other in a romantic relationship. Callie came to Huntsville to see Sean on August 1, 2018, and he took her to the most romantic place he could think of - the Downtown Public Library. There, he expressed the depths of his feelings for her as well as his desire to pursue her in a relationship. Fortunately for him, Callie reciprocated.

From that first day, Callie and Sean knew that the end goal was marriage. Over the past two odd years, they have been faithfully pursuing each other in their pursuit of Christ in the hopes of a lifetime of marriage. That day finally came on October 17, 2020. Sean took her to watch the sunrise with him and it was there that he asked her to be his wife.

Now, they anxiously anticipate uniting their two lives in the covenant of marriage. Through it all, they have seen the banner of the Lord's faithfulness and they know that the best is yet to come in their pursuit of Christ together.
