Laurel and I met back in the height of COVID in the summer of 2020! How do you go and meet the love of your life during a pandemic? Well... we still ask ourselves that from time to time but we took a chance to combine our COVID circles and hit the ground running! Within a month, Laurel tested me to see if I could handle a multi-day backpacking trip on the coast and surprise surprise, we both love the outdoors so much and we knew we were onto something special, I passed the test.

I won't go on with a play-by-play of everything we've done but we've collected years of amazing memories all around the country. The coast holds a special place for Laurel and her sharing that place with me made me hold the same sentiment. It only felt right that on our anniversary coastal backpacking trip I popped the question out at Toleak Point and now here we are planning this wedding! Where's the wedding happening? Well the COAST of course! We have now settled down in a sleepy coastal town here on the Olympic Peninsula and continuously make lasting memories and are so excited for all the remaining ones to come!
