We met at a restaurant in Huntington Beach CA.

Both of us had been on quite a journey before this, walking through the fires of life. Tracy, an independent single mother, raising her beautiful daughter Jenna and me, an independent single man-child, learning to raise my self. I’m still a man-child; what can I say, I’m young at heart. I truly believe these fires of life I mentioned before were God shaping and molding us, in preparation for each other. Had we met any sooner we just wouldn’t have been ready.

We ate our meal and ended up on a blanket out on the beach. This was my lovely wife’s-to-be blanket, from the trunk of her car. Apparently she was prepared, not me, lol. This is where we had our first kiss. We sat and kissed and held each other on the beach watching the sunset. The rest his history! I’d love to say that the next seven years was sunshine and rainbows however that’s just not how any serious adult relationship matures.

We would learn to truly love, to be patient, to be kind, to be humble, to be selfless. We’re still a work in progress but I know one thing to be true: Tracy has been one of God's greatest gifs to my life. And I to her.
