Love Thy Neighbor 

Sean and Tia’s love story began in an unexpected way, rooted in a friendship formed by their families. When the McDonalds and Moschners became neighbors in 2019, little did they realize that this bond would be the foundation of a beautiful and enduring romance. Throughout the years the McDonalds would go to the Moschner's Blue Ridge lake house on the weekends. Sean and his brother, Michael, would travel down from DC to spend the weekend at the lake. During these visits Tia and Sean were simply just friends. One weekend at the lake when the McDonalds came to visit, the house was full and the only other bedroom available was a tiny room with two twin beds that are basically connected. Tami, Tia's mom, decided that Sean and Tia should share the room. That night as Sean and Tia were about to go to bed, Sean looked over at Tia and said "Want to watch a movie?". Tia said, "Sure!". Tia ended up snuggling with Sean in his twin bed. Three Borat movies in and lots of conversations, Sean and Tia began to be intrigued in what this could be. They soon started texting everyday when Sean went back to DC. Texting turned into facetime, facetime turned into flying out to visit one another. Soon enough Sean would move to Atlanta to be closer to his parents *excuse me* he meant closer to Tia. Sean and Tia got a puppy shortly thereafter and would find themselves moving into their first apartment. About a year later, they bought a house together in Marietta and started to truly establish themselves in their new town. After living in the house for a few months, Sean decided to pop the question to Tia while doing a couples photoshoot. As they prepare to say their vows and embark on this new chapter of their lives, Sean and Tia's story stands as a testament to their parents' enduring love and the serendipity that brought them together. They are excited to continue their journey as husband and wife, grateful for every twist and turn that led them to this moment. Their story is one of love, resilience, and the joy of finding a lifelong partner. It's a beautiful beginning to what promises to be an incredible journey together.

We are so delighted to have you travel to the beautiful Charleston, South Carolina and witness our love and exchanging of vows before God. We understand that travel may be tricky so here are some tips! (See below for lodging).

The drive from the Charleston international airport is 12 miles from the hotels below.

Please note that transportation will not be provided from the hotels to the wedding venue. The venue is located exactly 1 mile from the hotels, and both the ceremony and reception will take place at the same location—so once you arrive, you’re all set for the evening! Ubers and taxis are readily available in the area, and it's a quick ride (or a pleasant walk, if you're up for it!).
