Lil's favorites are Busiek State Forest (find the old graveyard! ooo) and Whitaker Point Trail (worth the drive), but any on this list are a solid bet. If you want a quick jaunt, try the trails at Valley Water Mill or Stockton Lake, some of which can be conquered in under an hour.

There's also great hiking and floating in Northwest Arkansas, a quick drive over the Missouri border.
