What date should I RSVP by?

How do I RSVP? Where is the RSVP card?

Where is the wedding taking place?

The wedding venue is The River Valley Historic Venue, located at 422 N 15th St, Milwaukee, WI 53233

Where is the reception?

The wedding and reception are at the same venue! Both will be at The River Valley Historic Venue.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Yes, the venue has an attached lot with free parking.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

The wedding ceremony and reception will be held indoors, in one building, with elevator access.

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at a hotel?

We do not have blocks reserved, but the bride and groom will be staying at Potowatami Hotel and Casino, and head there directly after the reception concludes.

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel?

We will not be providing guest transportation throughout the wedding weekend, as most of the guest live locally. Our ceremony and reception are in the same building, and the hotel is a 3-minute drive from the wedding venue, and also easily accessible via ride-share service.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

We ask that you wear semi-formal attire such as a maxi- to cocktail-length dress, nice pantsuit, dressy separates or a suit and tie. Please avoid jeans, sneakers, and athletic-wear.

Am I allowed/expected to bring a plus one?

We are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding, as we'd like to keep the guests list just to close family and those who know us well. We have included married couples, and those in long-term cohabitating relationships in our guest list.

Am I allowed to bring my children to the wedding?

In trying to keep our wedding intimate and within our budget, we have not preemptively included children in our guest list. While we would prefer for this to be a formal, adult event, we understand that is not always an option for parents attending a wedding. This event will be held in the late afternoon, and we would love to celebrate with our guests late into the night. Please use your own discretion, and we will welcome and do our best to accommodate any children attending our event.

What type of food will be served at the wedding?

We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a buffet-style dinner with meat, fish and gluten-free/nut-free/vegan options available. Full menu options will be published and displayed prior to dinner.

Will there be meal options for guest will dietary restrictions and allergies?

We plan to have appetizers and a buffet accommodating as many dietary restrictions as possible, and everything will be clearly marked with ingredients and allergens. Please let us know about any restrictions in the designated section of your digital RSVP. Alternative menu may also be printed out accordingly.

Will there be an open bar?

There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and the reception. The open bar will be paused during dinner, and will close a . We recommend bring cash or card if you will be joining us at Potowatami Hotel after the reception.

Where can I find your registry?

Because we have limited space in our apartment and storage, we would be honored if guests could contribute to our honeymoon fund! You can find that and our registry on our website under the "Registry" tab here: theknot.com/sept28th

Where should we bring/send a gift?

While your presence at our celebration is more than gift enough, if you do decide to honor us with a gift we would be grateful if you could send them to either of the bride and groom's parents. What is the wedding itinerary?

Our wedding will take place at The River Valley Historic Venue on September 28th, 2025. The ceremony will begin at 3:30 PM, followed by cocktail hour and the reception, which is anticipated to wrap around 10:30 PM. Those who wish to continue to celebrate can join the bride and groom at Potowatami Hotel and Casino following the reception.

What time should I arrive at the venue?

The venue will open to guests at 3:00 PM

Will there be time between the wedding ceremony and the reception?

There will be a cocktail hour held upstairs within the venue after the ceremony.

Am I allowed to take photos/videos at the wedding?

Yes! We would love for guest to capture happy moments. Please be respectful of others and their privacy.

Can I post wedding photos/videos on social media?

Guest are welcome to post pictures that they take at the ceremony or reception!
