Emily and Sean met in their junior year of high school as teammates on a group project reverse-engineering a chainsaw. After spending countless hours working together they became fast friends. Later that year, after a couple of trips to go skiing after school and a ridiculous number of made up reasons that Emily needed rides home after school, Sean asked Emily if they wanted to start dating. Despite going to college in over 1000 miles apart from each other, they continued to grow closer. After college, both of them found work back home in Seattle and moved in together. On December 29th 2023, Sean asked Emily if she would be his teammate for life and marry him in front of all of our loved ones on the 7th anniversary of their relationship.
