Boat Excursion (Paid - Optional)

Attire: Swim wear if you plan to snorkel or swim, otherwise anything goes - prepare for warm weather and wind! We recommend bringing a hat, sunglasses, and layers.

All are welcome to join the bride and groom for a party boat cruise on a large boat around the Punta Cana Caribbean waters. The tour will stop at islands or other areas to allow for swimming and snorkeling. Includes beverages (alcoholic & N/A) and light snacks. This cruise is separate from the resort, and as such participation in this event included an extra charge. Additional requests to join are no longer being accepted by the boating company. If you have paid/reserved a spot, meet in the RIU Bavaro resort lobby 9:30am (we get picked up at 9:45 sharp). We will be picked up by a bus and taken to the place where we will board the boat. The cruise itself will be from 11-2 with arrival back to the resort by 3:30. Note that if you plan to drink, it is Dominican law that you cannot snorkel after having had any amount of alcohol.

Rehearsal Dinner (Bridal Party + Family)

Dinner & drinks will be provided at this private event for the bridal party and family of the couple, plus a few speeches to kick us off for the big day to follow.

Wedding Morning Beach Run with the Bride (optional, informal)

Meet in the RIU lobby at 7am to join the bride for a morning run! You may walk/run any distance you'd like.

Wedding Ceremony, Dinner & Reception

March 16, 2026

3:30 PM–10:30 PM

Kukua Beach Club & Restaurant

Note: this outdoor venue is next-door to & shares the same beach with our resort for the weekend (find more under "where to stay"). The ceremony & reception will both be held here.

Attire: Nice-casual to semi-formal, but prepare for warm weather (think: women—summer sundresses; men—nice shorts + button-up or polo). This will be a beach wedding—bare feet are allowed, and fun vacation wear such as Hawaiian shirts are encouraged if you'd like. *Please note:* We ask that you do not wear solid browns/golds/champagnes/tans, as this will be the color of the wedding party. Women, please also avoid wearing solid white :)

Arrive between 3:30 & 3:45 pm. (We recommend leaving the resort by foot around 3:15pm.) Ceremony: 4:00 - 4:30 Cocktail Hour: 4:30 - 6:00 Dinner: 6:00 - 7:30 Games & First Dances: 7:30 - 8:00 Party: 8:00 - 10:30. Please note: after 10:30, the party + open bar will continue a short walk further down the beach, at the resort (optional).

Wedding Week

March 13 - 17

We recommend arriving by or before Saturday, March 14th (find more under "travel"). Additional, more informal optional planned activities (included at no added cost through the resort) for guests to join in on may be added shortly, such as:

• Water sports, such as kayaking, windsurfing, bodyboarding, scuba diving + snorkeling (at the resort)

• Beach volleyball + court sports

• Pool + beach time

• Shared a la carte meals + a goodbye brunch

• Evening entertainment + resort "parties"

You can find the timing and location of these activities on the RIU app! (In order to connect the app with your reservation, you will need to wait until you check into the resort. From there, you should be able to see and register for different events.)
