View the spectacular British Columbia coastline by land and ship. The colorful and impeccably maintained Butchart Gardens is your first stop en route to the city of Victoria for leisure time.
Board a BC Ferries vessel for a 90-minute sail through the serene beauty of the Gulf Islands to Victoria. Marine wildlife sightings from the outdoor ship decks are common—especially eagles, sea lions, and even whales.
Arrive at Schwartz Bay Ferry Terminal on Vancouver Island and continue to the enchanting botanical paradise of Butchart Gardens. The gardens provide an array of colors for much of the year. During the summer, special lighting subtly illuminates them, often accompanied by musical entertainment on the Concert Lawn. Also, take time to enjoy the massive Sunken Garden, complete with its dancing fountain.
The city of Victoria boasts many impressive architectural wonders, including the iconic Parliament Buildings and the waterfront hotel, The Fairmont Empress. See these landmarks as you drive the scenic route into the city and arrive at the Inner Harbour, boasting prime ocean views. Your guide tells you about the city's history and attractions, such as the Royal BC Museum, before you disembark the bus for some free time. Visit the unique shops and artisan cafés of Government Street and Chinatown.
Relax with the wind in your hair and reflect on your exciting day in scenic Victoria on a ferry ride back to Vancouver.

Victoria City Tour & Butchart Gardens Visit

Among the museum's collections, you can take a look past a wall of ice into the life of a woolly mammoth, climb aboard a replica of the ship that Captain George Vancouver took on his expedition up the Pacific coast, see how the fur trade forever changed the lives of the region's first peoples, and revisit the days of the Gold Rush.
The museum also includes the full collection of the British Columbia Provincial Archives. Here, you can find a repository with more than 150 years' worth of letters, artwork, and records from the province's history, including the 19th-century Douglas Treaties between members of the area's First Nations people and the colony of Vancouver Island.
