A modern love story at its finest, Seb and Addison matched on the lovely (not really) Tinder dating app circa December 2016. However, it wasn’t until 6 months later in July 2017 that they actually met in person for the first time at Avanti in Denver over a couple (possibly more) brews. Seb had just graduated from Purdue and was in his initial airline training at SkyWest Airlines, and Addison was working for Amazon opening distribution centers around the country. Was it love at first sight? Depends on who you ask, but it was undoubtedly an intense initial romance for several weeks until Seb moved to Chicago in early August.

While Seb had initially resisted the idea of a long-distance relationship, Addison wore him down, and they both decided to give it a shot. They (we?) ended up flying back and forth between Chicago and Denver about once every two-three weeks for a whole two years. If that’s not commitment, we don’t know what is! After two years of many plane rides and several road trips, Seb convinced Addison to move out to Chicago so they could move in together into a one bedroom apartment in West Loop. Boy, was that place sick. It was an amazing setup, and while going from 1,000 miles apart to literally 1 foot apart was an adjustment, Seb and Addison cherished the time together.

We all know the story of March 2020, and not long after Covid hit, the fellas decided to pack up and move back to Colorado in September. While it was a bittersweet feeling to be leaving their amazing friends in Chi Town, it felt great to be back home and closer to their families (including their wonderful nephews!). Seb and Addison bought a townhome in September 2021 and have lived there since, creating a home and a little family with their doggo Mo. A 30-year mortgage is a pretty huge commitment in it of itself, but Seb and Addison can’t wait to celebrate with you all as they (we) take the next step together in this adventure of marriage!
