Our Wedding

Timeline

1pm – guests arrive at All Saints Church Fulham 1.40pm – guests to be seated in the church 2pm – wedding ceremony commences 3pm – guests move through to Fulham Palace Walled Garden 3.15pm – drinks reception begins in Walled Garden 6pm – carriages for drinks reception guests&nbsp; We regret that due to the nature of the small rooms at Fulham Palace we have limited capacity for our Wedding Breakfast. As such we have taken the decision to limit this to family and the extended bridal party. If you're uncertain please take a look through your invitation and RSVP options. 6pm - extended bridal party move through to Fulham Palace for wedding breakfast (dinner and dancing) 12am - carriages for extended bridal party

Wet weather plan:If the English weather works against us the Palace have kindly set aside a room for our drinks reception. Someone from the Palace will direct everyone from the church yard after the ceremony.

Putney Bridge tube station on the district line is the closest tube stop to All Saints Church in Fulham. Parsons Green is also close by and has a lot of sweet cafes and food options for anyone looking for caffeine or sustenance before the ceremony.

Tube - District Line, Wimbledon Branch

Putney Railway Station is a 15 minute walk (over the bridge) from All Saints Church Fulham. Please be aware, there are two churches at Putney Bridge - All Saints is on the Fulham side so please cross the bridge to the second church if you are approaching from Putney.

Train - Putney Railway Station

There are few parking places near All Saints Church so we ask that you leave these available for disabled access. Taxis and cars will be able to drop passengers off near the Church on Putney Bridge Approach or alternatively can turn in to Church Gate, a small 'no through road' running up to the Church. For those who need to park please let us know as there is free parking available through the Church gates.

£Premier Inn on Putney Bridge Approach looks out directly on All Saints Church Fulham. It will be a 2 minute walk from the hotel to the venue.

££Aragon House is amongst the hustle and bustle of Parsons Green and only a 10 minute walk to the venue. They only have 15 rooms available so they book up quickly!

££The Lensbury is a 15 minute walk from Teddington station and has wonderful facilities for anyone looking for an action packed extended stay. Teddington has a direct link to Putney Railway Station.

£££Harbour Hotel in Richmond is a little further out but perfect for anyone looking for some R&amp;R. Taxi from here is your best option to get to the venue, likely a 25 minute drive on a Saturday morning.

££-££££The Marriott Kensington is near Earl's Court Tube station where you can get a direct tube to Putney Bridge, 15 minutes via the District Line's Wimbledon branch. They have a wide range of rooms and prices available.

If you're flying in to London specially for our wedding - first of all, thank you! We are honoured by your friendship. Secondly, as we are sure you're already aware, any London airport will be fine but Heathrow and Gatwick are easiest to get in and out of West London.

We are looking forward to seeing you all and know that some of you will be hoping to spend a few days in London either side of our special day - we are SO happy you have chosen to make the long journey and have left a few options here of interesting tourist activities specifically in West London. If you're looking for general London tourist spots we defer to the Lonely Planet guide which will be much more accurate and thorough.

Especially great for the little ones, the Wetland Centre is moments from Barnes Green where you can find lovely cafes and shops.

You can take tours of Craven Cottage, billed as 'London's original football Club' - it's been recently renovated and we have (oh so cleverly) chosen our wedding day to be an away match day which means tours should be running. Check their website for availability.

Fulham Football Club

Even more cleverly we are also being married on an away match day for Chelsea - in the hope that traffic will be low and Katia makes it to the Church on time! That means tours will also be running for Chelsea and you can check the website for availability.

Chelsea Football Club

A beautiful place to explore with the old house and the grounds open to the public. Do check before setting off as they occasionally have to close the grounds in high winds due to the old trees. It's a little further afield but worth the trip!

Chiswick House and Gardens Trust

Again a little further away but if you choose to stay over in West London it would be a real shame to miss the world-renowned Kew! It's probably in the Lonely Planet guide anyway but we thought we'd add it in as we love it here.

The famous River Cafe Restaurant needs no introduction - if you're looking for a wonderful place to have dinner on Friday do call ahead and book, they get full very quickly.If you miss out on a table try Sam's Riverside which isn't far up river.
