Our Wedding

We first met back in August 2023-both of us convinced that love might not be in the cards for us. It felt like divine timing. Our first date was in Columbia, SC. Something was so special about this day as neither of us wanted it to end. There were instant fireworks. The date started as a calm brunch and turned into a cozy coffee date and eventually ended with a long evening car talk. It was enchanting and seemed to be prolonged with every minute we spent together after that day. We flew between Texas and South Carolina, squeezing in every moment we could together. We became best friends fast, talking for hours, sharing little joys, and planning sweet virtual coffee dates. (Funny enough, Jeff doesn't even drink coffee, he just wanted to see me smile! He googled what to order at a coffee shop and even showed the barista a picture of a fancy drink so he could pretend like he knew what he was doing.) What started as friendship quickly grew into something special and every goodbye became harder. From the very beginning, Jeff showed up for me in the most thoughtful ways. When I was nervous starting my first job, he sent fresh flowers to the office just to calm my nerves and brighten my day. I'd walk in and find a beautiful arrangement waiting on me. It was such a small gesture, but it meant everything. We'd spend weekend nights driving with the windows down, completely enchanted by each other listening to Enchanted by Taylor Swift and Race My Mind by Drake on repeat. And on cozy nights in, we'd shamelessly belt out the High School Musical soundtrack like it was our own personal concert. (Yes, we know all the words. No, we are not taking requests at the wedding.) The vibe was magical, and so were we. At the start of 2025, we decided we were done saying goodbye. After a year and half of laughter, adventures and plenty of weekend trips, we got engaged on March 12, 2025. It was one of the most unforgettable days of our lives. Since then, our families and friends have become one community, a circle of love and support that has only grown stronger. We often reflect on whether we were truly living before we met, or just existing. For the first time, we felt deeply seen, loved and protected. It's clear to both of us: God was watching over us and brought us together in his perfect timing. And more than anything, we're in awe that God loved us enough to bring us to each other. It reminds us just how good he truly is to gift us with something this beautiful, this whole, this real.We are truly best friends. We are each other's peace. And now, we can't wait to celebrate this love with you on May 24, 2026!
