One day a young graduate student by the name of Seneca, decided she wanted to live in the sunshine state of summer 2012. Seneca's sister and Benjamin worked together at Sutherlin Nissan of Fort Myers and were close friends. After having a few extra tickets to spare to an Avicii concert in Tampa, they decided to invite Ben. Secretly they were trying to set him up with one of Seneca's friends that currently lived in Florida. Well that fell through & FAST. By the end of the night and having too much of a good time, Sen & Ben ended the night on a simple kiss.

The next day Ben paid her (yes, paid $100) to drive his car back to Fort Myers so he could recover in the backseat. After a couple days had passed, he asked her on a date and before she knew it she was in Minnesota meeting his family.

That fall, she moved to New York City to teach & with the help of JetBlue airlines their love didn't fade. Decemeber 2012, they moved in together and the rest is history...

After a long week of Seneca being stressed about an end of the year formal observation for teaching, Ben decided they should enjoy a nice night out to celebrate her success. He told her they were going to Capital Grille for a relaxing wine & dine. Ben usually lies about the time of dinner reservations because Sen has trouble being ready in a timely manner. The "scheduled" time was 9 p.m on March 21st, 2015. As the clock was ticking, Seneca noticed Ben was taking his sweet time getting ready after long day at work. She was starting to get antsy (by the way this NEVER happens). Ben decided Gucci (their fur-baby) needed more water and treats x10.

Ben said that the reservation got pushed back by 30 minutes & Sen thought nothing of it since it was considered "season" in SWFL. Finally, they walked outside and as Sen was opening the car door a limo pulled into their driveway. Seneca was filled with joy thinking that all their friends were waiting inside for a fun night to celebrate. Once they stepped inside & it was just the two of them, she still believed they were going to pick up the crew. After a lot of sweet nothings being said & a toast of champagne, Benjamin got down on one knee & POPPED THE QUESTION. Her draw dropped by the SHOCK!

After a 1,000 times saying "Yes!", a delicious dinner at the Ritz, & a night of celebrating at Blu Martini, they turned the page in their fairy tale that began in 2012.
