Maid of Honor: Marilyn Xu

Marilyn has been my best friend for 16 years—since our awkward junior high days—and I couldn’t imagine this day without her by my side. She’s the kind of person who instantly brightens a room with her energy and laughter. An incredibly talented artist and a fellow foodie, we’ve shared endless meals, deep conversations, and way too many inside jokes to count. She’s been with me through every phase of life, and I’m so lucky to have her as my Maid of Honor.

Best Man: Max Merinov

Max is the guy you notice in any room—tall, ridiculously good-looking, and with those sharp blue eyes that could probably charm a fish right out of the water. Fitting, because this guy’s obsession with fishing is unmatched. Whether we’re swapping stories or casting lines, Max has always been the rock I can count on, and there’s no one better to have standing by me as my Best Man.

Bridesmaid: Diane Zhu

Diane and I met in our first year of university, and from day one, she became my "university wifey." She’s fearless, free-spirited, and always down for an adventure—whether it’s archery, horseback riding, or skiing. She’s the kind of friend who never says no to trying something new, which means life is never boring with her around. Some of my favorite memories are just us, laughing our way through another ridiculous activity.

Groomsman: Adel Agar

Adel’s the tallest, lankiest kid in the group—except, well, he’s not a kid anymore (he just acts like one). His love for baseball runs deep, and his goofy, laid-back vibe has made him the life of every hangout. He’s always been the guy to lighten the mood and keep us all laughing.

Bridesmaid: Jenny Cui

Jenny and I met during frosh week, and I knew right away that she was the fun, outgoing friend everyone needs in their life. She has the best style (seriously, she looks like she walked straight out of a magazine) and somehow always knows about the best parties, concerts, and events happening in the city. She’s the one who keeps life exciting, and I love that no matter what, we always have the best time together.

Groomsman: Allen Ngo

Allen is hands down one of the nicest human beings ever—he will go above and beyond for the people he cares about, no questions asked. Funny enough, our friendship actually started with me lying to him (don’t worry, he forgave me… eventually). From our epic Akina runs in Initial D to the major grinds we had in RO, we’ve definitely had our share of unforgettable moments. Whether we were pretending to be street racers or spending late nights leveling up, Allen's been there. He’s been a solid friend through it all, and I’m pumped to have him by my side on this day.

Bridesmaid: Sophia Yu

Sophia is the sweetest and kindest person I know—calm and elegant on the outside, but fearless and adventurous at heart. She’s learned to wall climb and surf, spends summers hiking, and in the winter, you’ll find her at concerts or wandering Christmas markets. She might love a quiet night in, but don’t underestimate her—she’s full of energy and always up for a challenge. I’m so lucky to have her by my side!

Groomsman: Naseer Pasha

Naseer is the creative genius of the group—the artist whose talents blow my mind every time. Seriously, ask him for a portrait, and you’ll see what I mean. I knew he was going to be big one day, so I made sure to keep one of his first drawings (future investment, maybe?). Beyond his insane skill, he’s one of the most genuine people I know. Whether we’re catching up over deep conversations or just joking around, he’s always been a solid friend, and I’m lucky to have him by my side.
