Serena and Nick first met after they both swiped right on an online dating app. The conversation flowed easily, and they found out they were both planning on going to the same concert (Modest Mouse & Brand New) and decided it would be a good time to meet up. Despite the sweltering heat of the outdoor concert, they shared many laughs.

They decided to switch it up for the second date and chose something that was less crowded and not as loud as a literal rock concert: hiking at Pilot Mountain. As a reminder of their first date, it was still sweltering hot of course.

By the time they had their third date--fish tacos in downtown Raleigh and watching Game of Thrones--they both knew they had found their favorite person.
