Our Wedding

We met in summer of 2023 while both working at Riverside Lutheran Bible Camp as Cabin Leaders. From the very beginning of the summer, we became good friends, sharing in our love of teaching young kids and sharing our faith in God with each other and others. We officially started dating after summer of 2023 and got engaged on Halloween of that year (after getting trapped in the car at a haunted house). Despite the short dating period, we felt comfortable taking that step in our relationship journey, with the support of our friends and family.&nbsp;Through our short dating and long engagement periods, we have gotten the opportunities to share with each other our cultures (Elizabeth has gotten to improve her Spanish and Sergio his German), faith values, and hopes for the future. We’ve been engaged for a little over a year now, enjoying our adventures together, filled with lots of love and laughter and a little bit of silliness in between. We can’t wait to celebrate our wedding with you and start our lives together as husband and wife with our little fur daughter, Rani.

Perfect Games has bowling, a restaurant, and arcade games fit for all ages. Each arcade game has a set dollar cost. To play the arcade games, you will get a free "game card" on which you can load money necessary to play games, then swipe your card at each arcade game you'd like to play.

No Escape Iowa has various Escape Rooms with different themes, from classroom craziness to spooky ghosts! Different escape rooms also cater to different levels, from beginners to those with more experience. Reservations need to be made on the website- some escape rooms have a minimum group size. Prices are: Adults (18 and over) $25 and Teens (13-17) $20.

The Farmers Market takes place every Saturday from 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM. Plan on bringing some cash for the vendors!

This park offers swimming, fishing, and picnicking locations. There is no alcohol allowed.

This state park has many amazing hiking trails and walkways along sandstone ledges and water bridges. If you want to go, bring your water or hiking shoes!
