We ask that everyone arrives to the venue at least 20-30 minutes before the beginning of the ceremony time listed on your invitation. This will allow time for everyone to find their seat of choice. Please choose a seat, not a side- we are all family once the knot is tied!

Yes, there is on-site parking at the venue, only a few steps away from where the ceremony will take place, as well as a golf cart for anyone with special accommodations.

We would love our guests to wear semi-formal attire. Men can wear suits, slacks/dress pants, and sports coats, while ladies can wear cocktail dresses, midis, or dressy jumpsuits. We want everyone to look their best, but also feel comfortable!

The ceremony will take place outdoors in the front yard of Unsalted Farm under a beautiful tree facing the lake. The cocktail hour will take place right after the ceremony under a covered gazebo with fans and a live jazz trio band- steps from the ceremony location. The reception dinner will take place indoors following the cocktail hour, with the band and dancing being under the stars outdoors-weather permitting!

We will have a selection of several speciality drinks, beer, and wine. Along with alcoholic drinks, we will have a selection of mocktails and sparkling wine. We do ask that you drink responsibly and have a designated driver, as there are limited/no Lyfts or Ubers in the area. We want our guests to have fun, but remain smart and safe.

On a typical June day in Semora, the average temperature is a high of 86 and a low of 68 degrees F. Please dress accordingly! We will have bottled waters and fans for guests to grab before the ceremony begins.

There are several different options for guests who are flying in. Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) is located 56 miles south of Semora and 37 miles south of Roxboro. Piedmont Triad International Airport (GSO) is located 60 miles southwest of Semora and 52 miles southwest of Danville. Uber is available to and from the airports however, car rental for the weekend will be the more reasonable option as Semora and Roxboro are smaller cities and Lyft/Uber to and from places is very limited
